Retail & Hospitality AV Installation

Background music, digital signage, guest experience AV, and paging for retail, restaurants, hotels, and hospitality — engineered for chain-scale consistency.

Retail and hospitality AV is a scale game. Whether it's 10 locations or 1,000, the system has to look, sound, and operate identically at every site — or guests notice, and brand equity erodes. We design reference store and reference property packages, then deploy them consistently across portfolios. Every install is documented, commissioned to spec, and supported with consistent managed services.

Engineering Approach

How we design these systems

Background music: streaming vs local

The era of CDs and headend amplifier rooms is over. Modern BGM runs through cloud-streaming services (SoundMachine, Cloud Cover Music, Mood Media, Rockbot, Soundtrack Your Brand) delivering licensed music over dedicated appliances. We install the appliance, wire the amplifier/speaker zones, and configure the service. You manage playlists from a web dashboard. ASCAP/BMI/SESAC licensing is included in the service fee.

Digital signage and menu boards

For restaurants: POS-integrated digital menus (Stratacache, Signagelive, Navori) showing dynamic pricing and day-part switching. For retail: promotional screens driven by corporate marketing. For hotels: wayfinding, event boards, and guest service displays. All managed centrally, deployed consistently across locations.

Paging and life-safety integration

Paging systems (Atlas AA Series, Bogen, Tannoy VNET) handle staff communications, customer announcements, and emergency messaging. We integrate with life-safety systems per NFPA 72 where required (mass notification, fire alarm integration), and with POS / guest management for service paging.

Hotel ballrooms and meeting space

Ballroom AV is the highest-margin AV in hospitality. We design flexible rooms with recessed truss, line array speakers, video walls, and wireless presentation that can host anything from corporate meetings to weddings. Control systems (Crestron, QSYS/QSC) let venue staff configure presets without AV expertise.

Guest room AV

Hotel guest room AV has converged on a few standards: commercial TV with IPTV + casting (Samsung Hospitality, LG Pro:Centric, Philips MediaSuite), Bluetooth audio from guest devices, USB charging, and simple room controls. For upscale properties, we add Crestron home automation, motorized shades, and integrated lighting scenes.

Chain-scale consistency

The value we add to retail and hospitality clients isn't installing a single store — it's ensuring the 50th store looks and sounds identical to the first. We deliver a detailed reference install document, standard equipment kits, consistent labeling, and a per-location QA checklist. Every site is commissioned against the reference spec.

Our Process

From kickoff to go-live

01

Brand standard workshop

We work with your brand/marketing and facilities teams to define the reference install — sounds, aesthetics, features.

02

Pilot install

First location becomes the reference. Document everything — photos, cable maps, programming.

03

Standardized equipment packages

SKUs locked, spares kitted, installer training documented.

04

Rollout logistics

Texas-wide scheduling coordinated with store openings / renovations. Our installer network covers all 50 states.

05

Per-site QA

Every install is commissioned against the reference spec by an AVIXA-certified engineer. Deviations are documented and corrected.

06

Ongoing managed support

Single point of contact for all locations. Tiered support SLAs per site.

Questions

Frequently asked

How fast can you roll out 50 locations?

+

Depends on complexity. Simple signage + music packages: 8-20 locations per week with 2-3 crews. Restaurant menu board + AV: 3-8 per week. Full hotel property AV: 1 property every 2-4 weeks per crew.

Do you handle all 50 states?

+

Yes. We have installer partners in every major metro and traveling crews for rural locations.

What about music licensing?

+

Business music licensing (ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, SoundExchange) is included in professional BGM services. Do not stream Spotify or Apple Music in a business — both terms of service prohibit commercial use and the licensing doesn't cover public performance.

Can you integrate with our POS?

+

For restaurants, yes — Olo, Toast, Xenial, HungerRush, Oracle Simphony, Aloha, Square, and most major POS platforms integrate with signage for dynamic pricing. We handle the integration.

What about brand consistency across locations?

+

We maintain a reference install document, lock SKUs, and QA every location against the reference. For any large brand rollout, this is the first question we ask.

Do you support franchisees or only corporate?

+

Both. For franchise brands, we offer corporate-contracted rollouts and franchisee-direct service with corporate-approved equipment lists.
